Evening Book Discussion & Dinner In-Person
Join us for a delicious dinner followed by a lively discussion of the New York Times bestselling Hamnet: a Novel of the Plague by Maggie O’Farrell. Agnes is an eccentric young woman, known for her gifts as a healer in 1580s England. Marrying a young Latin tutor, the couple settles in Stratford-upon-Avon where his new career on the London stage is taking off. The Black Death, however, creeps across the land, an ever-present threat, infecting the healthy, the sick, the old and the young alike.
Copies of the book will be available in the library by the third week of April.
